This policy describes how LKQ Atracco Group AB (hereinafter referred to as AGAB) and its group companies collect and process your personal data, what rights you have regarding the processing, and how you can ask questions or request corrections to your personal data.
You should always feel secure when sharing your personal data with AGAB or any of our group companies. With this privacy policy, we aim to demonstrate that we handle your personal data in accordance with applicable legislation.

LKQ Atracco AB always takes the utmost responsibility for your privacy and processes your personal data with care and in compliance with relevant regulations. All employees within the group who handle personal data have received basic training on data protection.

Your rights
- Request corrections to your information
The information we process about you should be accurate. If you discover any inaccuracies or, for example, if you have changed your name, moved, or updated your contact information, you have the right to request corrections to the data.
- Request deletion from our systems
You have the right to request to be deleted from our systems. This request will be granted if the data is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected or if there are no other legal requirements, such as accounting laws or tax regulations, that require us to retain the data. Only the data necessary to meet legal requirements will be retained in such cases.
- Right to data portability

Why do we process your personal data?
Atracco and our group companies primarily process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To fulfill our obligations to you as a customer, including processing purchases, invoicing, and delivering goods.
- To manage any warranty commitments.
- To simplify the purchasing process for returning customers.

Where your data is stored
Your data may be stored in different systems depending on whether one of our workshops or dismantling facilities has registered you as a customer. Below is an overview of where the data is stored:
Dismantling facilities:
Customer data is stored in the central customer database of the DemoMax business system. This database is shared by the dismantling facilities within Märkesdemo. For a list of the dismantling facilities included in this group, visit www.markesdemo.se/info.
Customer data may also be stored in the older business system, Fenix. In this case, customer data is only visible to the group companies within AGAB.
Workshops:
Customer data is stored in the CABAS damage management system, which facilitates communication with insurance companies, dismantlers, and spare parts suppliers.
Data is also stored in the COBRA business system, used for invoicing and workshop scheduling.
Tire centers:
For Örebro Bildemo AB, customer data is stored in the DemoMax business system, which is shared by the dismantling facilities within Märkesdemo. Visit www.markesdemo.se/info for more details.
For the tire workshop at Upplands Bildemontering AB, data is stored in the Däckdata business system and is not shared outside the organization.
How long do we retain your data?
We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this privacy policy. If required to comply with legal obligations, we may store your data for a longer period.
For customers, we store your data for a maximum of 24 months after your most recent purchase or activity with us.
Who do we share your personal data with?
Dismantlers:
Group companies within AGAB may share personal data with third parties such as group affiliates, other dismantlers within Märkesdemo, partners, and IT support staff.
Third parties may use data from Märkesdemo’s central customer register to handle repeat purchases, deliver goods, and contact you regarding orders and warranty matters. Recopart AB (org. no. 556663-6261), a group company within AGAB, is the data controller for the shared customer register in DemoMax.
When ordering parts from a dismantler outside Märkesdemo, customer data is only shared to fulfill the order and deliver the parts to you.
Workshops:
Customer data may be shared with the insurance company where the car is insured and the workshop responsible for repairs.
Data may also be shared with spare parts suppliers and other providers of products and services related to your vehicle.
Tire centers:
Data may be shared with Compilator AB, which provides systems for tire workshops and tire storage services.
If the data is stored in DemoMax, it may be used in Märkesdemo’s central customer database to handle repeat purchases, deliver goods, and contact you regarding orders and warranty matters.
Protecting your personal data
We are committed to ensuring your security as a customer of AGAB. We have implemented measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access. All data is stored in databases secured by access control principles and firewalls.
