Introduction
As an employer, we have a significant responsibility for our environment. Therefore, we strive to reduce our environmental and climate impact in various ways and adapt our operations to nature’s cycles, contributing to long-term sustainable development.
We comply with applicable environmental regulations and do what we can to contribute to a sustainable society.
Environmental considerations must influence all decisions within the organization, and every employee is responsible for following our routines and guidelines.
Purpose
The purpose of our environmental policy is to describe how we work to reduce our environmental impact in various ways.

General guidelines
The Atracco Group aims to minimize its environmental and climate impact through continuous improvement. Systematically analyzing how our operations affect the environment enables us to take action where needed.
The following guidelines apply within the LKQ Atracco Group:
We should prevent and minimize pollution of soil, air, and water.
We should map our operations to ensure we are well aware of how our business impacts the environment.
We aim to focus on key areas such as fluids, energy, chemicals, and vehicle use, as these represent our largest environmental impacts.
We should assess how we travel for work and how we use our facilities to minimize our footprint.
We aim to increase the share of environmentally friendly vehicles in our company fleet.
We strive to adopt new technologies for distribution and communication, such as email and video conferencing, wherever possible.
We aim to take concrete actions for environmental improvement that benefit both the environment and our business through satisfied customers.
We should recycle office supplies and packaging materials wherever feasible.We aim to minimize the use of single-use items in our operations.
We will consider environmental impact in procurement and strive to choose the most eco-friendly options whenever possible.We aim to use and manage energy responsibly in all our activities.
We strive to actively promote our eco-friendly products and raise awareness about their benefits.
We should encourage and develop our employees’ interest in environmental issues, ensuring sustainability is integrated into daily operations.
We aim to understand and comply with environmental laws and other relevant regulations and standards that apply to our business.
We are concrete and result-oriented
We take tangible, visible actions. We set goals and action plans in our environmental strategy, measure and monitor these actions, and report the results. The environmental plan is reviewed regularly.
We influence others
Through continuous collaboration and exchange with other businesses, we enhance and expand the impact of our environmental efforts. By being a role model in environmental responsibility, we encourage others to actively engage in sustainability work as well.
Responsibility
We create broad engagement within our organization by appointing a central environmental coordinator tasked with ensuring that all units actively work on environmental initiatives.
It is the responsibility of every employee to follow the rules and routines established by the Atracco Group for its environmental efforts. Site managers and CEOs are responsible for communicating our environmental policy across facilities and ensuring compliance with the regulations.All of AGAB’s dismantling facilities are certified according to ISO 9001
